ATA Hires Karen Nesta as Membership and Events Coordinator

Please welcome the newest member of the Arizona Trucking Association staff, Karen Nesta as ATA’s Membership and Events Coordinator.

Karen will be taking over the rolls and responsibility for Nancy Nelson. Nancy moved to Wyoming to be closer to her son and grandchildren in late October after more than nine years of service to the ATA.

Hailing from Frederickburg, Pennsylvania, Karen is no stranger to trucking. She started her career in trucking as a safety manager for New Penn Motor Express in 1976. When Karen moved to New Jersey in 1989, she was a safety manager for Hermann Transportation. She moved to the Phoenix area in 2012 and was the office manager for Con-Way (now XPO Logistics) until January 2016.

“Karen has already hit the ground running and we are excited to have her join us here at the ATA. Karen has a great passion for people and trucking and it shows,” stated ATA President and CEO, Tony Bradley.
