Arizona Trucking Association Announces its 2016 All-Stars

2016-ATA-All-StarsPosterPhoenix, AZ – The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) is proud to announce its 2016 Industry All-Stars.

The Arizona Trucking Association would like to recognize Senator Debbie Lesko and Senator Warren Petersen (formerly Representative Petersen) as Outstanding Legislators of the Year for 2016 for their efforts in supporting the Arizona trucking industry.

“Arizona is fortunate to have senators like Debbie Lesko and Warren Petersen,” stated Arizona Trucking Association President and CEO, Tony Bradley. “In 2016, Senators Lesko and Peterson took the time to understand our issues and listen to our concerns on critical legislation. On behalf of the membership of the Arizona Trucking Association, we want to acknowledge their support of our industry. We look forward to continuing working with them on issues important to our state,” concluded Bradley.

The ATA recognizes its members for their significant contributions to the Association in 2016. The members are: Mr. Jim Mahoney, James F. Mahoney, PLC, for his contribution in helping craft independent contractor legislation; Mr. Shon Rasmussen, RWC Group, for his fundraising efforts on behalf of the Arizona Transportation Education Foundation; Mr. Kyle Wilkes, Empire Transport, for all of his work on behalf of the Specialized Carriers and Riggers Conference; Mr. Dave Williams, Knight Transportation, Inc., who represented the trucking industry on the Surface Transportation Funding Task force; and Mr. Steve Bushman, Arizona Storage Rental, Inc., for his efforts regarding oversize/over-dimensional loads in Coconino County.

Additionally, the ATA recognizes Mr. Sean Williams, Southwest Truck Driver Training, Inc., as its 2016 Young Professional of the Year.
