Arizona SuperTech Competition

Who:
Commercial Vehicle Technician—must be employed by a member company of ATA who has performed the regular duties of a certified mechanic for the past 12 months.

Why:
To evaluate competitors’ diagnostics, mechanical and electrical skills using trucks, tractors, trailers and converter dollies Gauge competitors overall knowledge and problem solving abilities using the written test.

Format:
30 Minute stations including written testing and Hands on Skills Station challenges (which may also involve written test) will be given. There will be approximately 5 separate stations set up.

Grand Champion – the technician with the overall top score, including the written test, will be the Grand Champion!  The Grand Champion will represent the Arizona Trucking Association at the National Skills Competition in Orlando, FL, September 16th thru 19th.

There will also be a 2nd place and 3rd place overall champion.  Each hands-on station will have a 1st place winner.

Volunteers are also needed. If you can donate your time to judge/time keep and or assist in other positions please contact knesta@aztrucking.com.
