ATA Featured Member: Utility Trailer of Arizona
Utility Trailer Sales Company of Arizona has been an active member of Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) since 1943, making the company the longest sustaining member in ATA history. Utility works with the association on many events throughout the year and is always first to lend a hand to help ATA advance and achieve members’ goals.
Since its opening in 1943, Utility has been owned and operated by the Cravens family–three generations each providing supreme customer service! At Utility, employees respond to changing needs of the market and are dedicated to creating satisfied customers.
In addition to sales of over 140 brands of trucks and trailers, Utility Trailer of Arizona provides a broad range of products with competitive prices. Trucks and trailers available for sale include dry freight vans, flatbeds, refrigerated vans and curtain-sided trailers. Parts include line cards, fifth wheels, safety lighting, backup alarms, Tucson brakes, wheel locks, door hinges and hardware.
The company’s current president, George Cravens, obtained ownership in 1995 and recently received an ATA award for Utility’s longtime, active membership.
“We value our membership in ATA,” said Cravens. “The return on our investment has been excellent. In addition to the advocacy and networking opportunities, we use the 3rd party title and licensing services on a daily basis. Our customers appreciate the accuracy and fast turn around time so they can get on the road and generate revenues!”
“Utility has been a member of this organization for the past 65 years and it has been quite a ride!” said Cravens. “With membership now growing at record rates, a new facility for ATA coming later this year and leadership that seeks continuous improvement, the best years are yet to come!”
ATA sincerely thanks Utility Trailer Sales Company of Arizona for their longtime support and the personal efforts of Mr. Cravens and other Utility personnel to help make ATA what it is today.
