Arizona’s 2021 TDC Canceled

Arizona’s 2021 TDC Canceled

Dear Arizona Trucking Association Members:

I am writing to let you know that the Arizona Trucking Association Truck Driving Championship, which was scheduled for April 17, 2021, has been canceled.

We do not make this decision lightly. Arizona’s TDC is one of the best events of the year. It is a day for drivers from every segment of our industry to get together, display their skills and knowledge, highlight the safety aspects of our industry, and compete to see who is the best of the best. Arizona’s TDC is also a family friendly event, where family and friends can cheer on their favorite driver.

We know that many of our competitors and their families need this kind of gathering after a year of great challenges.  Other states that usually hold their event later in the year, will likely still have a state TDC, but in the end, the timing is still not right to hold this type of event in Arizona.

We must remain safe. We must remain diligent. We will see one another again soon enough.

I would like to thank all the men and women of the TDC committee who have been working diligently in putting the event together.

Additionally, if you have not already seen the news, the American Trucking Associations also announced yesterday that it was canceling the 2021 National Truck Driving Championship.

In closing, I would like to say how incredibly proud I am of everyone that works in this industry. You are the best of the best.  You have helped people throughout the United States during these unprecedented times. Thank you to all you do, day in and day out, to keep our country moving forward.

I look forward to the Arizona Truck Driving Championship returning bigger and better in 2022.

Sincerely,

Tony Bradley
President and CEO
Arizona Trucking Association
