Maximize your export opportunities in Canada, the largest single export market for the United States. Canada is a highly receptive market for U.S. goods and services; the North American Free Trade Agreement and Canada’s geographic proximity have afforded U.S. firms with a significant advantage in selling to Canada’s markets. Whether you currently export to Canada or are new to exporting, the importance of developing a strategic approach to this market is critical to your success. This webinar series has been designed to help businesses strengthen the skills necessary to effectively do business in Canada.
The Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) eManifest requirements for highway and rail carriers are now mandatory…are you ready for the change??
On May 6, 2015, regulatory amendments supporting the CBSA’s eManifest initiative were published in the Canada Gazette, Part II. The publication of these regulatory amendments makes eManifest requirements for highway carriers, rail carriers and freight forwarders, as set out in the regulations, legally binding. eManifest is phase 3 of the CBSA’s Advance Commercial Information (ACI) program.
This webinar will give an overview of the changes along with explanations to assist trade chain partners (with a focus on highway carriers) to better understand their responsibilities. We will also explore implementation timelines for the changes.
Join the U.S. Commercial Service and the CBSA for this informative presentation followed by a question and answer period with representatives from the CBSA and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
