Phoenix, AZ – The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) is pleased to announce the addition of two key hires, Leslie Hensley and Corrine Wood, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the association. Both will play vital roles in ATA’s mission to support and strengthen Arizona’s trucking industry.
Leslie Hensley has been hired as ATA’s new Director of Administration & Operations, assuming responsibilities from Rhonda Merkel, who will retire on December 31, 2024, after an impressive 15 years of dedicated service. Leslie joins the team with extensive experience in event management, administration, and nonprofit operations, previously holding leadership roles with prominent organizations including Rose + Allyn Public & Online Relations and the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona.
Corrine Wood has taken on the role of Accounting Manager, succeeding Karen Schiefelbein, who will also retire on December 31, 2024, after a remarkable 14 years with ATA. Corrine, who started on September 5, 2024, brings a strong background in financial management and organizational operations, with previous experience in finance and accounting roles, including her work as Director of Operations at Lincoln Partners, LLC.
“We are thrilled to welcome Leslie and Corrine to the ATA family,” said Tony Bradley, President and CEO of the Arizona Trucking Association. “Their combined experience and passion for the industry will be invaluable as we continue to advocate for the trucking community in Arizona.”
