We are excited to announce we have scheduled the next Truck Parking Advisory Group meeting for Tuesday February 26th from 2pm to 4pm. This meeting will be in a format of a Webinar. We will be sending out Working Paper #4 “Needs & Solutions” and the Agenda a week prior to the meeting. Working Paper #4 prioritized parking areas experiencing the greatest numbers of undesignated parking. Solutions to address the areas of concern will be presented and discussed. We have allowed enough time for everyone to ask questions and to give input. We look forward to hearing from you at the upcoming meeting. Participants are able to observe inspections alongside officers at the designated I-40 rest areas. This is a perfect opportunity for you and/or your management staff, safety coordinators, technicians or other personnel to see firsthand how roadside inspections are done on a daily basis.

If you operate vehicles that require a CDL on the public roads and you have more than one employee in the company, you are required to get DOT Supervisor Training.
DOT Supervisor Training for Workplace Drug Abuse and Reasonable Suspicion is a Federal requirement for all supervisors of any DOT-regulated company personnel. This is a requirement by FMCSA 49 CFR Part 382.603.
This program fulfills the two (2) hours DOT supervisor training requirement regarding workplace drug and alcohol abuse awareness, but goes beyond this to ensure the proper procedures and documentation are used during the Reasonable Suspicion interview. A Certificate of Training is issued for the supervisors' personnel files. The three (3) hour live workshop will prepare Supervisors to take their new found knowledge and put it into practice immediately.
Registration deadline is 5PM November 25th.
