ATA announces Glen Huddleston as new Safety Consultant

Tolleson, AZ – The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) is excited to announce that Mr. Glen Huddleston will take over as Safety Consultant starting immediately.

Glen replaces Mr. Bernie Gazdzik who is stepping back from his role at ATA. Bernie has served as Safety Consultant since 2011. Bernie will continue to instruct Certified Escort Vehicle Driver certification classes.

“I would like to welcome Glen to the ATA family,” stated ATA President and CEO Tony Bradley. “Glen’s experience in truck safety will help ATA provide critical safety advice and training to our members, and we are excited about what he brings to the table.”

Glen is a retired DPS Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Arizona State Trooper. Glen served for 20 years in law enforcement, with over 15 years commercial vehicle enforcement experience. He is a Certified CMV Auditor/Compliance Review Investigator, CMV instructor, drug recognition expert, Hazmat, and has multiple certifications.

Glen will serve as an independent consultant to ATA, he will be available by phone (at 928-308-0290) and email (at safety@aztrucking.com) to answer your safety compliance questions. Through our arrangement, Glen will be available to answer safety compliance issues for free to ATA members. In addition to answering members’ safety compliance questions, Glen will spearhead ATA’s safety training courses, which will be announced in the near future.

Glen is also available for hire for more complex safety issues beyond the scope of ATA’s Safety Services Arrangement.

“Bernie has been an integral part of the ATA family for a number of years. We appreciate his service to the trucking industry and wish him well in his retirement,” stated Tony Bradley.
